Ana currently works as a freelance brand strategist and communications manager for boutique marketing agencies and design studios. Her professional expertise lies in driving innovation at the intersection of culture, design & business.
She is a passionate creative leader with over fifteen years of experience in broadcast, media, agency, brand and internal communications. Ana has a deep understanding of storytelling, creativity, innovation, design and culture. She combines her imagination with rigorous data analysis to create high-quality products with both broad and targeted reach. With a focus on creative excellence, kindness and inclusion, Ana is able to create efficient systems and workflows. She implements innovative creative strategies and builds and mentors teams. Ana has worn many hats, working as a strategy director, creative director, communications manager, copywriter, product manager, branding strategist, video editor and transcreator. Her clients have included: HBO Max, DMAX, Nat Geo, FX, Fox Entertainment, WGSN, Bose, Porsche, Rolex, Océanario de Lisboa, DFL, Radisson Hotel Group, Prada and more. She is a Promax and Laus award winner.
Born and raised in Caracas, Ana has lived and worked in Buenos Aires, London, Brussels and Madrid, so she is accustomed to understanding the nuances and complexities of communicating across cultures. Ana studied BA Visual Communications in Caracas and MA Innovation Management at Central Saint Martins in London, graduating with honors both times.
Ana also co-founded a social enterprise in London called The Pink Pony, which helped organizations engage with their communities through bespoke playgrounds. And she worked as a guest lecturer on branding and editorial content at Blanquerna University in Barcelona.
Ana now lives in Madrid, where she draws maps and creates weekly newsletters for her projects Superminimaps and The Procrastinator (some) Times.
